Students in Ms. Boden’s veterinary science class practice essential animal care skills, including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, using training models and veterinary-approved techniques. After mastering their skills, they had the exciting opportunity to assist in administering a real vaccination to a dog. This hands-on experience helps students build confidence in animal healthcare and prepares them for future careers in veterinary medicine!

Through hands-on activities in Bioloy, students are gaining a deeper understanding of how scientists use fossil records to piece together how species changes over time. The study of fossils not only connects students to prehistoric life but also highlights the importance of conservation and scientific discovery in understanding our world today.
This unit allows students to analyzing real-world evidence to make connections between species and their environments. It’s an engaging way to bring history, science, and critical thinking together.
