The Johnson County Library held a Spooky Story Contest this year. Three of our Buffalo High School students were the winners of the contest. The results were as follows:

CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Bison Girls Swimming and Diving team for their 5th place finish at the 3A Absaraka Conference Championships held in Buffalo this past weekend. Vivyan Gripp swam the 200 IM in 2:25.68 to finish 1st place and earn All-Conference honors. Olivia Maertens scored 415.50 pts in the Diving to earn 1st place and All-Conference honors. Go Bison!

Hutson Bowe, with funding through the Marna Kuehne Foundation and the direction of his Ag teacher, Mr. Miller, created a beautiful bench that has been donated to the Veterans Home Skilled Nursing Facility. Today at the opening of this facility he was honored for his hard work by our local Veterans, community leaders, and state leaders such as Governor Gordon.

5:15 - 5:45: Principal Ostheimer will be greeting all parents and discussing the “report card” for BHS. This is his 3rd year as the principal and he hopes to explain the successes he has witnessed and the challenges found that BHS staff will be addressing to improve the school as a whole.
5:45 - 6:00: Kelley Glackin, School Nurse will discuss the rise of fentanyl and the need for narcan in the school.
6:00 - 6:15: Karen Blaney and Leah Hoblit will be providing an overview of the drama department and the upcoming musical, Percy Jackson, The Lightning Thief .

CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Bison Cross Country team for running to their 5th consecutive 3A East Absaraka Conference Championship and the the Bison Cross Country team for their 2nd place finish in Torrington this week! Briley Farris earned All-Conference honors for the Lady Bison with her individual 7th place finish. Zach Freise, Cole Rasmuson, Ryer Morrison, & Ryan Rasmuson earned All-Conference honors for the Bison with their 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th place finished respetively. Go Bison!
