Buffalo High School is proud to host the 2023 WHSAA 1A Regional Girls and Boys Basketball Championships on Thursday, February 23 thru Saturday, February 25. Brackets for all 16 teams can be found online at www.whsaa.org. As a WHSAA post-season event, admission will be charged. Students in biology class are learning about Natural Selection. They are running a simulation in which they have different bird beaks and must compete for survival. Only the most fit will live to see another season.
These students performed in the All Northwest mixed choir, treble choir and wind symphony in Bellevue, Washington. Ensembles were made up of the best auditions from Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Congratulations Ladies!!
Students from Johnson and Sheridan counties were selected as the DAR Good Citizens of their respective schools. Congratulations, Brogan, for representing Buffalo High School.
It is time for junior students to make application to attend Girls State and Boys State. Girls deadline is 2/24/23. Boys deadline is 3/1/23. These current seniors attended last summer. They developed leadership skills, experienced citizenship, and created lifelong friendships. Juniors, prepare your application for this unforgettable experience!

STATE CHAMPION! Congratulations to sophomore Tommy Wonka for swimming to a state championship in the 100m Breaststroke at the 2023 WHSAA 3A State Swimming & Diving Championships in Gillette today. His time of 56.51 earns him All-American consideration and Tommy also earned All-State honors from the Wyoming Coaches Association. Go Bison!
