Good morning Buffalo High School Families,
We will host The Right Road tomorrow. This is an important presentation that we are excited to share with our students. There are a few details that we need to share regarding the plan for the day. First of all, cell phones will not be permitted during the stations or the simulation tomorrow. Students will be asked to leave their phones in their vehicles or lockers throughout the day. They can check them before and after school and over their lunch break.
Also, parking will be limited tomorrow. All students and parents will be asked to park at the football field. No parking along the highway will be permitted. Our drop off loop will still be open. It may be a good day to drive your students or for them to carpool.
Finally, there will be a mock crash event that will take place in the parking lot of the high school tomorrow afternoon. we will have first responders, including a lifeflight helicopter. Please be advised this is a simulation to educate our students and not a real emergency. Our counselors will be available for any student that may experience any type of distress caused by the day's events.
If your Sophomore or Junior has not completed the liability waiver that was sent home, they will not be able to participate. Waivers must be in by 8:00am Wednesday morning.
Please contact our office at 684-2269 with any questions or concerns.
