4th Grade: Malachi Beecher exemplifies integrity in everything he does. He’s usually going a thousand miles per hour, full of energy and enthusiasm, but that never stops him from doing what’s right when it matters most. No matter the situation, he takes responsibility for his actions, owning his mistakes and working hard to make things right. Even when no one is watching, he chooses to do the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do. His actions and values are always aligned, showing his true character in every situation. His friends and peers know they can always count on him for honesty, and his sincerity shines through in every interaction. Malachi is one of the most genuine and real kiddos I have ever met, and his unwavering commitment to integrity sets a powerful example for those around him.
3rd Grade: Brinley Howe is a great candidate for the Key of Integrity because she exemplifies what it means to be a person of strong character. She is a great student and even better friend to everyone she meets. Brinley is confident in her abilities and is never afraid to make mistakes, she is always willing to own up to mistakes when she makes them, and she learns from each experience. She goes out of her way to build and maintain positive relationships with her classmates (and teachers), always staying positive and respectful, and never getting involved in things that do not pertain to her personally . What truly sets Brinley apart is her commitment to doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. She consistently chooses honesty and kindness, and her only competition is with herself—striving each day to be better than she was yesterday. When she is challenged, she takes it with a positive attitude and does not give up or try to get out of hard work with excuses or negativity. Brinley’s integrity and positive attitude make her a shining example for others to follow. Brinley can be counted on to do the right thing and stand up for what is right while encouraging others around her to do the same!
