Johnson County School District #1 takes great pride in serving all students. We are committed to ensuring every student in our district has the opportunity to receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education. The district offers a variety of services for students with disabilities and each school has certified and classified staff trained to work with students with disabilities throughout the school day. Our staff works closely with qualifying students to design and deliver meaningful instruction to meet their unique needs. Special programming includes direct instruction and classroom support as well as related services including Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Adaptive PE and counseling for students who qualify under state and federal criteria.
